December Founders Award Update From ADC Chris Simon

As we approach the mid-point of the fraternal year, councils should hopefully have at least one (1) Fraternal Benefit Event (FBE) completed through Field Agent presentation or webinar. If you are looking to complete an FBE soon:

  • Reach out to your field or general agent to arrange for an FBE to be given at your monthly council meeting. Make sure there are several unique members present to maximize the visit. Collect names of those present and coordinate with your field agent to submit form 11077.
  • Look for your district deputy’s winter meeting date and ask him if the field agent will be present to give an FBE presentation to the whole group. Encourage your district deputies to provide this opportunity – they are happy to help!
  • Keep an eye out for future FBE webinar opportunities

Earn the Founder’s Award is one of the three requirements for Star Council. To earn your Founder’s Award, your council must participate in at least two (2) Fraternal Benefit Events over the course of the fraternal year with a quota of members that is dependent on the size of your council. The required sum total attendance of unique members at these events must equal or exceed:

  • 10 members for councils of 99 or fewer members on their July 1, 2025 roster, or
  • 14 members for councils of 100 or more members on their July 1, 2025 roster

Please note: Form 11077, which can be found online here, must be completed with each Fraternal Benefit Event and should be submitted within 7 days of the event with the full list of participants.
